ÁGUEDA, Portugal (May 20, 2018) In a fitting end to the 3rd annual Anicolor Grand Prix, team Miranda Mortágua literally brought home victory when the race finished in Miranda's hometown of Águeda.
Francisco Campos took victory in the U23 category and upset the general classification with a 5th place overall. Keep an eye on Campos since today's U23 victor, will be tomorrow's pro/elite GC contender!
Nuno Meireles set the course on fire with a sprint that snagged him the green sprinter's jersey, while António Barbio scooped up points all along the 143-km course from Barrio to Águeda to win him the red jersey. Barbio grabbed double the points as #2 in the Points Classification.
All the racers on the Miranda Mortágua team ride XMOD modular cranks with the new carbon fiber crank arms tested by the team.
