The Portugal Downhill Cup headed north to Boticas for the penultimate Round 4 and a chance to rise up in the overall standings before Round 5 at the end of June and then the national championships the third weekend in July.
Vasco Bica bested 65 other racers to take the top prize in the elite category while Gonçalo Bandeira, who's already a household name on the Portuguese downhill circuit took the podium in the junior category.
With their respective wins, Bandeira catapults himself up 121 places in the worldwide overall rankings for downhill racers while Bica Bica climbs 19 spots.
The next race, Round 5, will take place June 23 in Tarouca, followed by the national championship on Miranda’s home turf in Águeda.
