LOUSÃ, Portugal (April 8, 2018) Tiago "Yiao" Ladeira took his place as last in line for his first-place seeding result and, while the pressure mounted with each rival's run, Ladeira executed the most flawless run to lop off more than a second of the runner-up's finishing time.
The hard-driving rain, which soaked the elite event, held off for the junior event and allowed Ladeira a relatively clean run on the familiar course in Lousã. His time of 4:19.009 easily scored him the European Jr. Downhill Champion's title and notched him a huge personal and professional win, since Miranda was one of the main event sponsors.
