Miranda is paving that way, leading on components manufacturing year after year, reinforcing its position not only on production but also on R&D and “green” approach. In Europe, Miranda is nowadays the biggest cranks manufacturer, but that’s only a part of its multiple solutions where its know-how is applied.

In addition to increasing its product range, Miranda has grown its staff to over 200 at its massive headquarters in Águeda, Portugal. This isn’t the end though. With an objective to enhance Miranda’s vision to promote bicycle mobility, to reduce car traffic, and to encourage employees to ride more, plans for a new e-bike area are already underway in Águeda.
These days Miranda supplies most of Europe’s top bicycle brands, and exports its products to a wide range of countries. With each year, Miranda has successfully grown and strengthened its reputation as a quality manufacturer and reliable partner.

E-bikes’ meteoric rise in the last few years came as no surprise to Miranda, which has been supplying e-bike manufacturers with durable machined and forged aluminium cranks, chainrings, and chainguards since the trend’s early days.
Now there’s an even greater variety of motors with different configurations, and Miranda has been able to easily keep up with new demands for custom solutions thanks to its in-house production process located in Águeda, Portugal.
Miranda has already forged its reputation as an OEM supplier for e-bike parts — the next obvious step was to connect with more e-bike users.

In 2019 Miranda introduced its first sponsored e-bike racer to test new components and bring attention to Miranda’s extensive experience in crafting e-bikes components. Now the Miranda Factory Team has included e-bike races in its race calendar to increase brand exposure and to work as a test environment for new products.
